Drone in farming farmers now spray fertilizers in the fields with drones government is giving 50 percent subsidy

Drone technology has revolutionised the agriculture sector, especially in the spraying of fertilisers and pesticides. It saves time and money compared to traditional methods, ensures uniform distribution, reduces risks and is environmentally friendly.

The central and state governments are constantly encouraging farmers to use drones so that their hard work and cost can be reduced. With the use of drones, farmers can spray pesticides on crops, sow seeds and monitor crops. This will also increase the income of farmers.

The Bihar government has implemented a scheme to promote drones – Drone Pesticide Spraying Scheme. Under this scheme, farmers will get a subsidy of 50 percent maximum Rs 240 per acre on spraying with drones. This scheme will encourage farmers to use drone technology and help in increasing the yield of crops.

You will get this much grant

According to Bameti, the agriculture department is providing subsidized drone spraying to farmers. A subsidy of 50% or a maximum of Rs 240 per acre will be given. Farmers will be given subsidy up to a maximum of 10 acres. 4 drone service providers have been appointed for pesticide spraying.

Traditional pesticide spraying is harmful as farmers are unaware of its side effects, which leads to wastage of water, time and money. Spraying pesticides with drones will not affect the health of farmers. It will be possible to spray pesticides in 8-10 liters of water in one acre, which will take 8-10 minutes.

How does a drone work in the field?

Drones are used in farms to spray fertilizer or pesticide on crops. Before the drone takes off, a map of the farm is made. This map helps the drone to tell where to go and how much fertilizer or pesticide to spray. The drone is programmed to fly over the farm and it automatically follows the route set in the map. The drone sprays the fertilizer or pesticide present in the tank on the crops.
